Sea Alliance Group Boosts Technical Services Offering
Sea-Alliance Group (SAG), the international maritime business, has boosted its Technical Management Services offer and is now able to provide a wider range of services, and from locations including the South of France, Spain and Northern Italy.
The move follows the appointment of Pino Di Mora, a Class 1 engineer, who joined the company in September 2010 and who has now successfully completed a number of technical management projects on behalf of the company.
The Technical Services division of SAG offers everything from liaising with suppliers and collecting quotations from various yards for any maintenance work that needs to be done on a vessel, re-painting, engine room works, any structural modifications to the boats, audio visual systems updates, and liaising with the Captain of the boat to ensure the vessel is maintained to the highest standards.
Pino Di Mora’s wealth of expertise, industry know-how and contacts ensure this is possible. By supervising all of the works and checking that all the contractors, shipyards and the crew are doing their jobs properly, he can ensure the yacht is in tip top shape. He has expertise in building, refitting and maintaining the quality of the boat which is reassuring for the owner or captain.
Explaining what is now available via SAG’s Technical Services division, Pino Di Mora said: “As well as offering technical assistance to Sea-Alliance Group’s existing managed fleet, we can now offer technical management packages, whether that is year round or for a particular new build or refit project. This service now means that we can take on larger projects and can offer our clients the very best in technical and customer service.”
Stuart Aldridge, Captain of MY Donzietti, said of the Technical Services work undertaken by SAG on his vessel: “We have found the assistance of Sea Alliance Group Technical Services to be a big help with the winter work we had to undergo this year. As part of a technically managed fleet we have access to the best shipyards and suppliers at discounted rates and we receive a much more comprehensive service than we would elsewhere. Sea-Alliance Group has worked very hard to make sure that the yachts in their fleet are recognised by key suppliers, which takes a lot of the headaches out of continually negotiating every quote.”
SAG now provides leading services in yacht sales and purchase, new construction, yacht management, technical management, charters, and marinas and marine projects.
