Art Marine launches operations in the Sultanate of Oman
Art Marine LLC, an Abraaj Capital portfolio company and the Middle East’s largest importer and distributor of luxury motoryachts, has launched operations in the Sultanate of Oman.
During an exclusive two-day event held on the 7th & 8th of November, Art Marine inaugurated their local office and announced their ambitious plans for operations in Oman.
Following a brief introduction of the company and its products, the distinguished guests viewed the Azimut 68S, and the Four Winns H 240. Both have been brought to the Marina especially for this event. The fleet is complimented with an additional 55ft flybridge motoryacht, dedicated specifically to chartering. Art Marine Charter Division has been booking regular charters over the last 3 months.
Speaking to the media at the launch, Constantinos Constantinou, Art Marine President and CEO said: “We are very honored and proud to be here. As a company and as a team together with our Omani partners “Go Marine”, we share with the Sultanate our love of the sea, our respect for the environment, the search for amazing destinations and more importantly the art of hospitality and the passion for yachting. Together with our partners “Go Marine”, we have launched our charter and sales operation at our new office in Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, and are ready to serve the needs of local boating enthusiasts”.

At the same time, Art Marine Sales Division will be introducing our portfolio of the world’s leading yachting brands to our existing and future customers in the Sultanate. We are pleased to confirm the sale of an Azimut 70 Flybridge motoryacht to a valued local customer, which will be arriving to the Sultanate in early 2011. From 18ft recreational boats to 50 Meter luxury yachts and beyond, we are able to cater to all sea lovers”, he added.

The office in the Marina yacht club is fully operational and offers a variety of charter options, as well as expertise in boats and yacht sales and consulting. The Marina Management Division of Art Marine has already set foot in the Sultanate, and is honored to be managing the spectacular Zighy Bay boutique Marina in the Musandam peninsula.
