Monica PAOLAZZI, Communication & PR Manager at  Wally, discuss about the introduction of new types of sailing yachts and power boats, their characteristics and latest exhibits – 30 M. Y3K and 24M. Begheera –  at Monaco Yacht Show 2010

Wally is the World leading builder of advanced composite large yachts. The company was founded in 1993 introducing a new type of boat that in few years successfully changed the entire concept of sailing cruisers.

In 2001 Wally entered the motor yacht market with three different projects, sharing the same concept of combining technology and design to obtain a new type of boat, as it did with the sail.

As a result of this intense activity, as per October 2010 Wally has built yachts to a total length of 8,497 feet – 2,590 meters

Awards received  in 2010

  • Wally 130 wins the Nautical Design Award of the “Sailing yacht over 24 meters” category
  • Indio wins the World Superyacht Award “Best sailing yacht 30m-44m”
  • The American magazine The Robb Report selects Wally as the best sailing yacht builder reporting that “The Wallys have shown that sailing, luxury, and simplicity can all be combined in a wonderful package”
