International Superyacht Coatings Conference: a must for the environment 9 – 10 December 2009 Grimaldi Forum Principality of Monaco
Posted by Yachting Intelligence in Seminars, tags: International Superyacht Coatings ConferenceThe first ever International Superyacht Coatings Conference (9 – 10 December 2009, Grimaldi Forum, Principality of Monaco) will unite the Superyacht industry, legislators, owners and crew, giving them the opportunity to address the effect of worldwide environmental laws on the manufacture and application of coatings on Superyachts.
The conference is aimed at senior members of the marine industry, product manufacturers and applicators, superyacht new-build and refit yards, surveyors, project managers, superyacht captains, industry regulators and international specialist media.
Yacht Owners demand the highest quality paint applications for their luxury yacht while paint manufacturers and applicators are under increasing pressure from strict international and EU legislation. There are currently no recognized qualification processes to accurately assess the standard of finish for a yacht.
The two-day conference will have a packed programme consisting of plenary presentations, interactive panel sessions, evening social functions and opportunities to meet and engage with speakers and delegates for valuable business networking. A key component of this inaugural conference is the opportunity for all participants to play a part in the development of the forum’s debates and discussions through « question and answer ยป sessions and a number of industry panel sessions and debates.
