Genoa-based classification society Rina has allocated its new environmental notation Green Plus to three new mega-yachts.

A fourth Green Plus mega yacht newbuilding in China was announced during the 19th Monaco Yacht Show in Montecarlo. The 62 m yachts, MY Candyscape II and MY RoMa, built by ViareggioSuperyacht, and the 41 m MY Ocean Emerald, designed by Norman Foster and built by Cantieri Navali Rodriquez received the Rina Green Plus certificates.

China’s Kingship Marine announced that the yard is building the 45 m Green Voyager to Rina’s Green Plus standards. Designed by the Axis group of Viareggio, the yacht is expected to be the first anywhere to surpass Rina’s Green Plus Platinum standards.
